Mass Spectrometry

TFG Analytical offers a full range of LC/MS/MS bioanalytical services to support drug discovery and development projects. Services range from methods development/validation to drug metabolism and pharmacokinetic study support. Sample analysis in various biological matrices - (blood, urine, feces, aqueous humor, tissues, brain, plasma, serum) is available. LC/MS/MS instrumentation includes the ABI 3000 triple quadruple MS and the 4000 Q TRAP®, a high-performance hybrid triple quadruple/linear ion trap mass spectrometer. LC/MS/MS capabilities include use of product, precursor, or neutral loss scans for structure elucidation of parent molecule and metabolite or in conjunction with liquid chromatography (LC) and multiple reaction monitoring (MRM) analysis for quantification of both parent compound and metabolite(s). Additionally, the instrument may be used as an ion trap mass spectrometer where enhanced resolution, product ion scans, or MS/MS/MS (MS3) functions may be used to determine charge state, or molecular connectivity relationships.
